PLUS! Live music with the Amocat Live! songwriter showcase!

Amocat Live brings you singers and songwriters from around the area…always someone new…and frequently, an old returning favorite too! This month’s performers include:
* John Saunders
* Bjorn Parker
* Jeremy Bush
* Mitchell James
* Dave Hannon

The evening is anchored by our very own house band, the Collaborators. Featuring fabulous lady singers Jessica Reid and Lisa Franklin, who are oh-so-artfully backed up by their band, consisting of (but not always limited to): Kirk Parker, of the currently dormant Half a Mind, songwriter John Dolge, the versatile Brian Neufeld, and our newly-added percussionist Greg Lease!

Our intrepid musicians wander the regions of acoustic folk-rock, pop, bluegrass, country, covering tunes by Alison Krauss, James Taylor, Crosby, Stills and Nash, and venturing into Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Bareilles and more, with a special focus on the exquisite vocal harmonies of female-ish groups like Dala, The Wailin’ Jennys, and First Aid Kit.

When: Friday, January 11th; 5-10pm
Live music: 7-9:30pm
All ages. No cover.
